The size of a standard sitting pet sculpture is 20cm (8") tall, small sitting pet sculpture is 14cm (5 1/2") tall, and a large sculpture is 25cm (10") tall.

Size of pets lying down or multiple pet sculptures on same base
Please contact us if you want your pet lying down or if you want to have multiple sculptures on the same base. In general, these sculptures are much smaller, so we prefer to have the sculpture sitting or standing.

 

Can you make a lifesized sculpture of my pet?
No, we can not make a lifesize sculpture (unless your pet is about 20cm long). Our standard pet sculptures are 20cm tall, a small sculpture is 14 cm, and we can make sculptures up to 25-30cm tall at the most.

 

My dog is pure breed, can you make a personalised sculpture of my dog?
Yes, we are happy to do all pets, whether they are a purebreed or a mixture. As we work on your photos, we are not limiting ourselves to certain breeds, we will make a beautiful sculpture that looks like your pet.

 

My dog is a cross or mutt, can you still make a personalised sculpture of my dog?
Yes, we are happy to do all pets, whether they are a purebreed or a mixture. As we work on your photos, we are not limiting ourselves to certain breeds, we will make a beautiful sculpture that looks like your pet. For crosses or mutts, our sculptures are ideal, as our sculptures are made from photos and so are a perfect display of your pet.

 

What is the price of a 14 cm personalised pet sculpture?
The price for our small 14cm tall full colour pet sculpture is £230.

 

What is the price of a 20 cm personalised pet sculpture?
The price for our standard 20cm tall full colour pet sculpture is £295.

 

What is the price of personalised silver pet pendants?
Only £150 if you have already made the pet sculpture with Arty Lobster, and £195 if we have to make the figurine from your photos.

 

What is the weight of a 14 cm personalised pet sculpture?
The small size is about 600-700g (slightly more than a pound), so they feel solid and heavy when you lift it up. Most people are surprised that the weight is heavier than expected.

 

What is the weight of a 20 cm personalised pet sculpture?
The weight of a standard 20cm sculpture is about 1.5 kg (roughly three pounds), so they feel solid and heavy when you lift it up. Most people are surprised that the weight is heavier than expected.

 

What is the weight of personalised silver pet pendants?
The silver pendants are small (about 2cm tall) so they are very light. They are not hallmarked, so will be below 7.7g.

 

Do you ship pet figurines to Europe (outside the UK)?
Yes, we ship anywhere in the world. All our products are shipped from the UK, so please add the time it would take to ship a parcel from the UK to where you are, to the time of 6 weeks it will take. Please see our delivery page in the footer for more details. We charge £5 P&P to Europe.

How does the Arty Lobster 100% satisfaction guarantee work?
If you are not happy, please let us know by email. We may be able to resolve your issue, if not you can return the sculpture to us and we will refund you. You only pay for the return postage.

 

Have you actually refunded people if they did not like their sculpture?
Yes - contact us for more information. Sadly some people are not 100% happy with the colour or with the actual look of the sculpture when they receive it. Sometimes, there is a problem that we can fix and ship another sculpture, but we have refunded a few people over the years.

 

What is the process for making an Arty Lobster pet memorial?
The process does not change, except for the fact that we will have to work from old photo's.

 

What if I don't have 10 photos for a pet memorial?
We work from photos of your pet, so as long as you have some old photos, we can create a sculpture from those. We have made a sculpture from 2 photos, and the owner liked it.

 

Is the sandstone material waterproof?
The full colour sandstone material is not waterproof.

 

Will you be able to match the colour of my pet exactly?
We will be able to match the colour of your sculpture to the photos you send us. Indoor light does cause pets to look a little too yellow, so it would be great if you are able to include some outdoor pictures so that we can match the colour.

 

Will you be able to make the fur glossy on the Arty Lobster pet sculpture?
Unfortunately due to the 3D printing process we only can creates matte colours, so a chocolate labrador will not have a shining brown coat, but rather a matte brown coat.
